Simple Systems Are Easier to Trust

People notice when an institution feels legible. Simplicity is often what makes that confidence possible.

Simple Systems Are Easier to Trust

A system does not need to look complex to be competent. In fact, simplicity is often the clearest sign that the internal structure is doing its job.

The more steps people have to decode, the less likely they are to trust the environment they are in. Simplicity does not reduce seriousness. It makes seriousness usable.

Institutions that want continuity should design for repeatability, not spectacle. Simpler systems survive handoffs better because they ask less from every person entering them.
